We are seeking a Sr. Business Intelligence Engineer/Analyst to join our dynamic team! This role offers an exciting opportunity to work closely with diverse stakeholders, drive data-driven decision-making, and contribute to impactful business initiatives.
What You'll Do:
β’ Plan and execute advanced data analytics projects with strategic impact.
β’ Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to complete projects and drive insights.
β’ Utilize SQL, Snowflake, Sigma, Python, SSIS, and/or Business Objects to extract, mine, and automate data from internal systems.
β’ Implement Kimball methodology and develop data feeds for enterprise reporting.
β’ Design and develop Power BI dashboards and paginated reports to present business trends.
β’ Build and nurture relationships with clients by developing tailored reports and data solutions.
β’ Lead quantitative research projects, from business problem identification to model development and communication of results.
β’ Analyze financial and operational systems, interpret data, and develop actionable insights for leadership teams.
β’ Participate in key company initiatives, including product/system development, process improvements, and M&A due diligence.
β’ Serve as a subject matter expert, mentoring and supporting colleagues as needed.
β’ Maintain strong partnerships with business teams to ensure high utilization of reporting services.
β’ Present regular updates and analysis to leadership, identifying opportunities for operational enhancements.
What You Bring:
Education: Bachelorβs degree preferred.
Experience:
β’ Minimum 6 years in databases, data warehousing, data mining, or analytics.
β’ At least 3 years working with SQL, Snowflake, and/or Oracle.
β’ At least 3 years using advanced quantitative and analytical problem-solving.
β’ 2+ years reporting experience with tools such as Power BI, SSRS, Sigma, and/or MicroStrategy.
β’ Additional skills with SSIS, Python, Kafka, and Informer are a plus.
Skills:
β’ Strong communication skills (verbal and written) to effectively interact with diverse stakeholders.
β’ Ability to lead and work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
β’ Comfortable asking for assistance and offering support to teammates.
