Sr Cloud Engineer – Contract – Plantation, FL – $70-80/hr. The final salary or hourly wage, as applicable, paid to each candidate/applicant for this position is ultimately dependent on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, the candidate’s/applicant’s qualifications, skills, and level of experience as well as the geographical location of the position. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Sponsorship not available. Our client is seeking a Sr Cloud Engineer in Plantation, FL. Role Description This role will play a critical part in executing our multi-account AWS strategy using Control Tower and Landing Zone, and driving automation through Infrastructure as Code with Terraform and CI/CD pipelines in GitHub actions. The ideal candidate will assist in transforming our application stack by migrating from traditional web servers to AWS serverless infrastructure using Lambda, as well as migrating existing workloads and resources into new AWS accounts. They will also support both Windows and Linux environments, work across a broad set of AWS services, and collaborate closely with development teams using Python, Angular, and React.
