Role description
Our client, a leader in the oil and gas industry, is seeking a Data Analyst III to join their team. As a Data Analyst III, you will be part of the Learning Systems team supporting global learning initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, excellent communication, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job?
• Design, maintain, and support job role and competency architecture within the enterprise Learning Management System (LMS).
• Analyze LMS data and reports to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for improvement, delivering actionable insights.
• Partner with global Learning teams, HR, and business stakeholders to define and refine role structures and learning pathways.
• Support data quality, role structure integrity, and continuous improvement of LMS configurations and processes.
• Apply industry context—particularly oil and gas operations—to support job roles and learning design.
What's Needed?
• Hands-on experience working within an enterprise Learning Management System (LMS).
• 5+ years of experience in learning systems, job architecture, competency frameworks, or related roles.
• Strong data analysis skills, including intermediate Excel proficiency (pivot tables, formulas, charts).
• General understanding of the oil and gas industry, including upstream, midstream, and downstream operations.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder engagement skills.
