Job Summary
We are looking for a Senior Data & Business Intelligence Associate to join our Analytics Team in Cleveland, OH. The ideal candidate will be a technically skilled analyst with 2-5 years of experience who can translate complex data into actionable business insights. This role will involve developing dashboards, conducting deep-dive analyses, and supporting compliance and operational excellence initiatives across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop Metrics & Dashboards: Create and maintain interactive dashboards in Power BI/Tableau that provide real-time insights on compliance, variances, and operational performance. Automate reporting processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.
• Data Analysis & Reporting: Write optimized SQL queries to extract, clean, and analyze data from multiple sources. Identify trends, anomalies, and performance gaps, presenting findings to stakeholders with clear, actionable recommendations.
• Compliance & Variance Monitoring: Track key compliance metrics to ensure adherence to internal and external regulations. Monitor operational variances, provide root cause analysis, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve data accuracy and reporting integrity.
• Business Support & Strategy: Partner with leadership to define KPIs and performance benchmarks. Provide data-driven insights that support decision-making and strategic initiatives, working closely with EPMO, Finance, and Operations teams.
• First 90-Day Deliverables: Stand up baseline compliance and variance dashboards with agreed-upon KPIs, deliver at least one automated reporting pipeline, establish data quality processes, and produce stakeholder-ready insight briefs that inform operational decisions.
Requirements
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Computer Science, Statistics, Data Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Experience: 2-5 years in Business Intelligence, Data Analysis, or a related field
• Skills:
• Proficiency in SQL (query optimization, joins, stored procedures)
• Hands-on experience with Power BI or Tableau (dashboard development, DAX, visualizations)
• Strong analytical skills with a data-driven approach to problem-solving
• Excellent communication skills with ability to translate technical findings to non-technical stakeholders
• Knowledge of Jira, ServiceNow, or other ITSM tools
• Other: Ability to work onsite in Cleveland, OH as needed
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in compliance tracking or risk analysis
• Familiarity with financial services or payment processing environments
• Experience with data governance and data quality frameworks
• Knowledge of Python or R for advanced analytics
• Certification in Power BI, Tableau, or related BI platforms
