Sr. Data Engineer

Peak Performers has partnered with a Texas State Agency to assist in their search for a Sr. Data Engineer. In this contract position, you will enable agile decision-making and use real-time data by executing technical development and configuration of various Master Data Management elements. Major Duties • Ensure data compliance and working within modern standards to ensure that the data services meet or exceed all regulatory expectations • Collaborate with existing data team and internal customers and partners to design, develop, and deliver solutions and key business insights • Develop large-scale Data lake, Analytics, and Dashboard initiatives and services What are we looking for? • Bachelors Degree • 5+ years of experience with the following: • Datalake, Datawarehouse, Data model or Snowflake • Data Development with SQL/T-SQL development • Reporting, Analytics and Dashboards • Working in an agile development environment as part of a sprint team • Data streaming technologies such as Kafka or elastic • 2+ years of experience with messaging technologies such as MQ or Redis preferred • Experience with the Texas Child Support Program preferred About This Position • W2 Contract • Rate: $88.00-$89.00/hour • Contract Length: 1 year • Hybrid in Austin, Tx The Peak Performers difference • Excellent medical health, dental & vision insurance at 60 days • Our employees may choose to participate in a 403(b) retirement plan • Qualified applicants with chronic medical conditions and/or disabilities receive priority placement • We pay weekly through direct deposit • In business since 1994 and thousands of job placements All employment offers are contingent on the successful completion of a pre-employment criminal background check, in compliance with all applicable federal and state laws.
