Seeking a talented Senior Data Engineer to build scalable cloud migration solutions for a leading Fortune 500 facilities services company. The Senior Data Engineer will develop and implement a migration solution from SQL Server to Snowflake through an Azure environment. You’ll be responsible for ensuring accuracy, reliability, and automation of the process.
Responsibilities
• Development of SSIS packages supporting full and incremental loads.
• Configure ODBC connections for SQL Server and Snowflake.
• Implement error handling, logging, and retry logic.
• Schedule and automate package execution via SQL Server Agent.
• Perform automated and manual data validation.
• Document logic and contribute to architecture diagrams and flow charts.
Required Qualifications
• 7+ years of experience in ETL development.
• Strong SQL Server knowledge, including legacy versions.
• Strong SSIS development experience.
• Experience with Snowflake and ODBC connectivity.
• Experience and familiarity with Azure environments.
• Strong troubleshooting and performance optimization skills.
Preferred Qualifications
