Sr Data Engineer with Healthcare Location:-Cincinnati, OH or Charlotte, NC(only Local candidates) Client Kroger Exp:10+yrs Job Description The Data Engineer will build and manage the consumption of pharmacy data into the health and wellness data analytics platform, ensuring data is organized, successful, and usable for advanced analytics. Required Qualifications: Strong understanding of pharmacy, clinical, and healthcare data Several years of experience in data modeling Proven experience in data modeling within healthcare/pharmacy industries Advanced technical skills in data integration and analytics platforms Ability to work with complex, multi-source healthcare datasets Experience working with data architects, data analysts, and business stakeholders Snowflake platform knowledge a plus Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills Experience in Agile or Scrum environments Several years of experience in data modeling Knowledge of ETL or ELT processes Attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy Strong communication and collaboration skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Key Responsibilities Develop conceptual, logical, and physical data models Integrate diverse pharmacy data sources into the analytics platform Define data structures, relationships, and storages strategies within database Optimize models for performance and scalability Maintain data model documentation, including data dictionaries and metadata Establish and enforce data modeling standards and best practices Document and communicate data models Note to Vendors The data engineer will be part of the Associate Technology pillar, specifically supporting Health and Wellness This team specializes in transforming raw healthcare data into meaningful insights, with a focus on creating comprehensive wellness solutions through advanced data integration techniques
