Role description
Sr. Data Engineer (Hybrid, Dallas, TX area) - We are ONLY accepting candidates local to TEXAS W2 Only - no CTC. We can sponsor for this role. My client is looking for a Data Engineer who focuses on Oracle BI solutions, including OAS, along with exposure to modern data platforms like Snowflake, Databricks, and SQL Server. This position will also involve a transition to Power BI over time, so any experience there (or interest in working with it) would be a big plus. We’re looking for someone with a strong foundation in data warehousing and ideally some exposure to data modeling. Nice-to-haves include Python or cloud experience, but the core focus is on BI development and analytics Nice to Have Skills: Experience with Power BI (migration to Power BI upcoming) Knowledge of OBIEE, OAS, and related reporting tools Healthcare or financial data experience Python in cloud environments and data virtualization Preferred Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical field 9+ years of hands-on experience in data engineering and architecture Prior experience with data migration, cloud-based platforms, and reporting solutions Other Requirements: Strong communication and influencing skills to collaborate effectively across teams Willingness to stay current with emerging data engineering trends and technologies Estimated Min Rate: $51.10 Estimated Max Rate: $73.00 What’s In It for You?
