As a Sr. Data Scientist, you will be part of the newly established AI team supporting the Medical Device Division. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a collaborative mindset which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Sr. Data Scientist Location: Chicago, IL Pay Range What's the Job? • Design, develop, and implement advanced machine learning algorithms for medical device applications. • Research state-of-the-art AI/ML techniques and evaluate their applicability to medical device challenges. • Collaborate with other AI scientists and engineers to share knowledge and best practices. • Work with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and integrate AI solutions. • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in AI, machine learning, and relevant medical device regulations. What's Needed? • PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Data Science, or a related field with a strong focus on machine learning; OR a Master's degree with 1-2 years of relevant industry experience. • Strong theoretical understanding of machine learning algorithms and principles. • Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in AI/ML development (e.g., Python). • Experience with machine learning frameworks and libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch). • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
