Overview
We are seeking a Senior Data Solutions Manager to lead the design, development, and management of data-driven solutions across key business functions such as Marketing, Finance, HR, and Legal. This role is a hybrid of business strategy (60%) and IT/data expertise (40%), requiring strong communication and leadership skills to partner with stakeholders and translate business needs into scalable, measurable data solutions.
The ideal candidate has a Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) background, deep ERP understanding, and experience building impactful dashboards, reports, and analytics products. This is a strategic and hands-on leadership role within a growing data and analytics transformation program.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead the development and delivery of data solutions, including dashboards, reporting, and analytical tools.
• Act as primary liaison for business stakeholders, ensuring requirements are translated into actionable data products.
• Partner with a Data & Analytics Center of Excellence (COE) for advanced modeling, visualization, and innovation.
• Improve business KPIs across functional areas through effective analytics and insights.
• Support and optimize ERP-related data products, particularly in Marketing and Trade functions.
• Present findings and solutions to non-technical stakeholders in a clear, impactful way.
• Stay current on analytics best practices and emerging technologies, including AI-driven decision support.
Must-Have Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Data Science, or related field.
• 7–10 years of IT professional experience (5+ years considered if strong in CPG).
• 7+ years in Data / Analytics roles with proven results.
• 3+ years supporting ERP data products for Marketing, Finance, HR, or Legal, OR direct business-side experience in CPG.
• Strong ERP knowledge; must be skilled in at least two core functions (Trade & Marketing strongly preferred).
• Proven success improving KPIs within CPG organizations.
• Hands-on experience with Power BI, Business Objects, and Analysis for Office.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
Preferred Skills
• SAP S/4HANA experience (CDS Views, BTP, SAC, Fiori).
• SAP ECC data architecture (BW, HANA).
• Advanced analytics (Python, regression, predictive forecasting).
• Exposure to Generative AI for decision-making.
• Prior consulting/Big 4 experience a plus.
