Key Responsibilities:
β’ Conduct comprehensive assessments of existing release management strategies and processes using SWOT analysis and other industry methodologies to pinpoint key areas for improvement.
β’ Facilitate discussions with stakeholders to gather insights on challenges and recurring issues within the release management lifecycle.
β’ Recommend enhancements to the release management process that align with industry best practices and organizational goals.
β’ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement effective release management practices and tools, including GitHub, Jenkins, Helm, IBM UrbanCode, Terraform, ServiceNow, DataDog, Splunk, Kubernetes, AWS, SonarQube, and JFROG.
β’ Lead initiatives to continuously improve release management practices, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in deployment processes.
Qualifications:
β’ Bachelorβs degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
β’ 7+ years of experience in DevOps or related roles, demonstrating a strong track record in release management.
β’ Strong proficiency in scripting languages and automation tools, with hands-on experience in containerization technologies.
β’ Solid understanding of configuration management tools and their application in release management.
β’ Excellent problem-solving abilities with a capacity to thrive in a fast-paced environment, complemented by strong communication and interpersonal skills.
