Position : Sr FedRAMP Moderate controls with CMMC experience : Visa Independent and W2 only Location : USA -Remote Type of Job : Contract : 12 Months Experience : 15+ Years JD- The individual will be providing security and compliance-as-a-service to the Lumen engineering organizations working toward CMMC Level 1 - 2 and FedRAMP Moderate certifications. The software engineer will lean in and assist the application teams with implementing compliant solutions for the CMMC and FedRAMP Moderate controls. Main Responsibilities Upgrading End-of-Life software to supported versions (Java to Java, for example) Replacing End-of-Life software to supported software (Perl to Java, for example) Adding RBAC integrations with Azure Entra Id Integrating FIPS into Java Creating and maintaining Threat Models Creating and maintaining Data Flow diagrams Remediating vulnerabilities 3+ years of experience implementing FedRAMP Moderate controls CMMC experience is a plus AWS, Azure, Google cloud platform Containers and Container Orchestration Perl, Java, Go-lang is a plus Security Vulnerability Remediation Automation CI/CD Pipelines API Design and Integration Best Practices Message Brokers Agile and Scrum Methodologies Code Review and Refactoring Education Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Equivalent
