Role : Sr. GuideWire Data Analyst Duration : Long Term Contract Location : Warren, NJ Hybrid Max Rate : 60/HR on C2C JOB DESCRIPTION: Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Sr Data Analyst with strong experience in Data Warehousing (DWH) and a solid understanding of the insurance domain. In this role, you will be responsible for gathering, analyzing, and transforming data into actionable insights to support strategic decision-making. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business needs, ensure data quality, and support reporting and BI initiatives. Key Responsibilities: • Analyze complex datasets from internal and external sources, with a focus on insurance-related data. • Design, develop, and optimize SQL queries and scripts for data extraction, transformation, and analysis from DWH systems. • Guidewire (Policy Center, Claim center) exposure or working experience would be preferred. • Collaborate with business stakeholders to define reporting requirements and KPIs. • Support data modeling and integration efforts across DWH and data platforms. • Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and governance standards across all analytics outputs. • Generate and maintain dashboards, reports, and ad-hoc analyses using BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau). • Identify trends, patterns, and insights to support underwriting, claims, pricing, and risk analysis functions. • Assist in DWH maintenance and enhancement, including ETL processes and data pipeline improvements. • Document data definitions, business logic, and reporting standards. Required Qualifications: • 10+ years of experience as a Data Analyst or similar role. • Proven experience working with Data Warehousing systems (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift, or similar). • Strong SQL skills and experience with large-scale relational databases. • Solid understanding of insurance processes, including underwriting, claims, and policy data. • Experience with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau. • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for translating data into business terms. Preferred Qualifications: • Experience with data modeling tools and techniques (e.g., Kimball, star/snowflake schema). • Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).
