We are seeking a skilled Sr. InterOp Engineer FHIR to lead and support the migration of the current healthcare data systems to a modern FHIR-based datastore. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with FHIR standards, healthcare data models, and cloud-native data platforms. Responsibilities β€’ This role requires deep expertise in healthcare data exchange protocols and the ability to collaborate across product, and engineering teams to ensure semantic and syntactic interoperability. β€’ The Engineer will also be responsible for staying current with evolving standards and regulatory requirements and for mentoring teams through training and documentation. Experience: - β€’ 8+ Years Location: - β€’ Remote Duration: - β€’ 6 Months Contract Educational Qualifications: - β€’ Engineering Degree BE/ME/BTech/MTech/BSc/MSc. β€’ Technical certification in multiple technologies is desirable. Skills - Mandatory skills β€’ Lead the migration from current traditional database to FHIR-compliant datastores. β€’ Provide guidance on FHIR resource modelling, profiling, and implementation strategies. β€’ Analyze existing PostgreSQL schemas to understand data models, relationships, and healthcare-specific entities. β€’ Map relational data structures to appropriate FHIR resources (e.g., Patient, Encounter, Observation). β€’ Optimize performance and scalability of FHIR data services. β€’ Conduct data quality checks and validation during migration. β€’ Support integration with EHRs and other healthcare systems. β€’ Collaborate with product and engineering teams to ensure interoperability. β€’ Review and validate HL7 messages and FHIR APIs for conformance and performance. β€’ Experience or knowledge of Davinci guidelines (packages) β€’ Industry standard FHIR integrations like PAS, CDC Hooks etc. β€’ Good experience of traditional database like Postgres is mandatory. β€’ Monitor and interpret changes in HL7/FHIR standards and regulatory frameworks. β€’ Knowledge of React/TypeScript is a plus. β€’ Key skill FHIR, InterOp, FHIR, Data Background, PostgreSQL Life at CitiusTech We focus on building highly motivated engineering teams and thought leaders with an entrepreneurial mindset, centred on our core values of Passion, Respect, Openness, Unity, and Depth (PROUD) of knowledge.
