Role description
Visa :H1B ,H4EAD , USC AND (GC oN W2 ONLY ) Position – Sr. Interoperability Engineer (FHIR) Location – Remote Duration – Contract Mandatory skills • Lead the migration from current traditional database to FHIR-compliant datastores. • Provide guidance on FHIR resource modelling, profiling, and implementation strategies. • Analyze existing PostgreSQL schemas to understand data models, relationships, and healthcare-specific entities. • Map relational data structures to appropriate FHIR resources (e.g., Patient, Encounter, Observation). • Optimize performance and scalability of FHIR data services. • Conduct data quality checks and validation during migration. • Support integration with EHRs and other healthcare systems. • Collaborate with product and engineering teams to ensure interoperability. • Review and validate HL7 messages and FHIR APIs for conformance and performance. • Experience or knowledge of Davinci guidelines (packages) • Industry standard FHIR integrations like PAS, CDC Hooks etc. • Good experience of traditional database like Postgres is mandatory. • Monitor and interpret changes in HL7/FHIR standards and regulatory frameworks. • Knowledge of React/TypeScript is a plus. • Key skill – FHIR, InterOp, FHIR, Data Background, PostgreSQL Responsibilities • This role requires deep expertise in healthcare data exchange protocols and the ability to collaborate across product, and engineering teams to ensure semantic and syntactic interoperability. • The Engineer will also be responsible for staying current with evolving standards and regulatory requirements and for mentoring teams through training and documentation.
