Sr. PowerApps Developer

Job Role: Senior Microsoft Power Apps Developer Duration: up to 6+ Month Contract Location: Remote-(local to Southern California only) Pay Rate: Up to $60/hr. on W2 Position Overview We are seeking a Senior Microsoft Power Apps Developer with 10+ years of overall professional experience in the Microsoft technology stack. This individual will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing enterprise-grade solutions using Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Dataverse. The ideal candidate has extensive experience delivering scalable, secure, and integrated business applications in complex enterprise environments. Key Responsibilities • Design and develop enterprise-level applications using Power Apps (Canvas and Model-Driven Apps) • Build and maintain advanced Power Automate workflows, including complex approval processes and system integrations • Architect and implement solutions leveraging Dataverse, SharePoint, SQL Server, and other Microsoft data sources • Integrate Power Platform solutions with Azure services (Azure Functions, Logic Apps, APIs, Service Bus, etc.) • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions • Design data models, security roles, and environment strategies within Power Platform • Establish and manage Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) processes for Power Platform solutions • Develop custom connectors and integrate third-party systems via REST/SOAP APIs • Ensure governance, compliance, and adherence to Power Platform best practices • Perform code reviews, solution optimization, and performance tuning • Provide technical documentation and knowledge transfer to internal teams • Support production deployments and troubleshoot complex application issues Required Qualifications • 10+ years of professional experience within the Microsoft technology ecosystem (.NET, SharePoint, SQL Server, Azure, Dynamics, etc.) • 5+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Apps • 5+ years of experience building solutions using Power Automate • Strong experience with Dataverse and relational data modeling • Experience integrating Power Platform with Azure services and external APIs • Deep understanding of security models, role-based access control, and governance within Power Platform • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices • Strong SQL experience and data integration background • Experience working in enterprise environments with multiple stakeholders • Excellent communication a must. Preferred Qualifications • Experience with Dynamics 365 • Power BI integration experience • Microsoft certifications in Power Platform or Azure • Experience implementing Power Platform Center of Excellence (CoE) framework
