Purpose:
Clientโs Salesforce system is a cloud-based Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platform that enables businesses to manage customer data, sales operations, and marketing campaigns and is a critical application for companyโs digital transformation to enable annual recurring revenue.

The team leverages multiple technologies including Jira for work management, GitHub for source tracking, Gearset for deployment services and Own Backup for data management.
Key Responsibilities:
The Salesforce Engineer is responsible for successfully designing and implementing solutions that enable business objectives and outcomes.
The technologies include but are not necessarily limited to Salesforce.com products and APIs, Apex/Visualforce, Lightning, and integration/ETL technologies.
The Engineer would also serve as a SF platform solution expert & maintains an ongoing comprehensive understanding of the cloud-computing ecosystem.
They will engage with Solution Architects in designing capabilities by leveraging the Salesforce Cloud platforms to address business needs and simplifying the integrations with other client systems.
Will have experience working within Salesforce cloud platforms such as but not limited to: Sales Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Commerce Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Analytics Cloud.
Work closely with Technical Leaders, Business Partners, Business Process Owners, Business Analysts, Developers to design solutions to meet business needs in accordance with industry best practices.
Work collaboratively and apply strong communications skills in technical discussions and presentations.
Play the role of a technical SME in internal strategic initiatives to grow the platform.
Serve as an active contributor to the overall knowledge base and expertise of the Salesforces cloud platforms.
Specializes in gathering and analyzing information and designing comprehensive solutions that are flexible and adaptable.
Soft skills and ability to interact with business and technical stakeholders to discuss needs and opportunities and translate them into solutions.
Will know of and adhere to best practices, including estimating work, test driven development practices, configuration over customization etc.
Teams would include vendor partners as well.
May serve in a release manager capacity as needed to plan and lead the team through releases across lower environments.
Skills, Knowledge, Experience and Education:
Bachelorโs degree in computer science, management information systems, engineering, or related field
Minimum 3 yrs. of experience as a salesforce developer
Salesforce Expertise:
Strong knowledge of Salesforce Cloud platforms and the various components.
Proficiency in Apex programming language for custom development.
Experience with Salesforce Lightning and Lightning Components.
Understanding of Salesforce data model and security model.
Experience in CTI integration, email automation, self-service, knowledge management.
