Role description
Sigma Reports Developer We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Sigma Reports Developer to join our data and analytics team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining insightful and interactive reports and dashboards using Sigma Computing. Your work will directly support business stakeholders by turning raw data into actionable intelligence that drives key decisions across the organization. Key Responsibilities · Develop, maintain, and optimize interactive dashboards and reports using Sigma Computing. · Collaborate with business users, data engineers, and analysts to gather reporting requirements and transform them into impactful visualizations. · Use Sigma’s live connection model to ensure real-time insights and seamless data access. · Apply best practices for data storytelling, visualization design, and performance optimization. · Work with data models built on Snowflake or other cloud data warehouses to support self-service analytics. · Ensure proper governance and version control for Sigma assets including folders, permissions, and documentation. · Troubleshoot issues related to report performance, data inconsistencies, and user access. · Train and support business users in using Sigma reports effectively. Required Qualifications · 3+ years of experience in business intelligence, data analysis, or data visualization roles. · Hands-on experience with Sigma Computing, including building reports, dashboards, and exploring datasets. · Strong SQL skills and understanding of modern cloud data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift). · Experience working in data-driven environments with multiple stakeholders across business functions. · Strong data literacy and ability to translate complex data sets into intuitive visual insights. · Familiarity with performance optimization and best practices for cloud-based BI tools. Preferred Qualifications · Experience with other BI tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau, Power BI) is a plus. · Exposure to data modeling concepts and experience collaborating with data engineers or DBT developers. · Knowledge of data governance, access control, and data security best practices. · Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools like Jira, Confluence, or similar. · Experience working in industries such as insurance, finance, healthcare, is a bonus.
