Position: Staff DevOps Engineer
Location: Fully Remote
Duration: 8 month contract, potential perm
Compensation: $55-75/hour, depending on experience
Project: Upgrading DevOps architecture within Azure and AWS
Must Have Requirements
• 5+ years of experience in a DevOps or infrastructure engineering role (Multi-cloud)
• At least 2 years of hands-on experience with Azure DevOps
• Strong experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps Pipelines and GitHub Actions
• Proficient in Terraform and infrastructure as code (IaC) methodologies
• Experience deploying and managing applications on Azure App Services, AWS ECS, and Docker-based platforms
• Scripting experience with Python and Shell
• In-depth understanding of Git, including branching, merging, and version control workflows
Day to Day Responsibilities
A diabetes-focused medical device company is seeking Staff Pipeline/DevOps Engineers to join its Software R&D organization. These engineers will play a critical role in designing, building, and maintaining scalable and reliable CI/CD pipelines to support both the Cloud Operations and Data Products teams. The ideal candidates will bring a strong background in DevOps best practices with an emphasis on automation, infrastructure as code (IaC), and cloud-based deployments. Each engineer will be responsible for end-to-end pipeline development, infrastructure automation using Terraform, and deployment across Azure and AWS environments. Additionally, the role involves scripting, supporting containerized microservices, and contributing to the optimization of software development and release processes. Success in these positions requires a solid understanding of Git workflows, SDLC practices, and a proactive, collaborative approach to improving operational efficiency.
