Data Analyst/Corning NY/Onsite Role Job Title: Master Data Specialist Client Overview This opportunity is with a major global manufacturer of materials science and technology products, headquartered in the Corning, NY area, with a 170-plus year history of inventing and manufacturing products that touch industries from telecommunications to life sciences. The role sits within supply chain operations at corporate headquarters, supporting the master data that underpins production planning, procurement, and manufacturing across the company's global sites, including ongoing SAP S/4HANA system deployment work. Given the ITAR and DOD-related nature of some of the work supported here, this role offers exposure to defense-adjacent and export-controlled manufacturing programs in addition to standard commercial operations. Top 3 Skills • ERP master data management, ideally in SAP or SAP S/4HANA • Data quality monitoring, auditing, and issue resolution in a transactional environment • Cross-functional coordination with planning, procurement, manufacturing, and engineering teams What You'll Do • Create, update, and deactivate product and supply chain master data, including materials, BOMs, routings, and related records • Complete data transactions accurately and within defined service level expectations • Support new part setup and maintain transaction accuracy and timeliness • Perform mass data updates for business changes, projects, and system initiatives • Follow defined process standards, naming conventions, and data rules on all master data transactions • Monitor data quality through reports, routine checks, and audits, resolving issues as they arise • Escalate recurring issues or data risks to the appropriate owners • Work with planning, procurement, manufacturing, and engineering to gather inputs and complete data requests • Support onboarding and training on common master data processes • Partner with process and data teams on system improvements and SAP S/4HANA deployment activities What We Need From You • Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, engineering, information systems, or a related field • 1-3 years of experience working in ERP systems, preferably SAP or SAP S/4HANA • Experience maintaining product or supply chain master data in a transactional environment • Strong attention to detail and a track record of managing work against defined turnaround times • Must qualify as a U.S. Person under ITAR regulations due to the export-controlled and DOD-related nature of this assignment Preferred / Bonus • Direct SAP S/4HANA deployment or migration experience • Experience in a defense, aerospace, or other ITAR-regulated manufacturing environment • Familiarity with BOM and routing structures in a manufacturing setting About Elevait Elevait Solutions was founded by veterans who believe that how you treat people is the only thing that actually matters in this industry.
