We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Statistical Data Scientist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in statistical modeling, machine learning, and optimization techniques, along with hands-on experience in deep learning and large language models (LLMs). This role involves direct interaction with business stakeholders and customer FTEs, requiring excellent communication and technical skills.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and implement statistical models and machine learning solutions to solve complex business problems.
• Apply deep learning techniques including LSTM, N-BEATS, CNN, and RNN for time series forecasting and other predictive tasks.
• Utilize LLMs for natural language processing and generative AI applications.
• Develop and optimize mathematical models using Linear Programming and Mixed Integer Programming.
• Work with optimization tools such as OpenSolver and Gurobi to solve large-scale business problems.
• Collaborate with business teams and customer FTEs to understand requirements and deliver impactful data-driven solutions.
• Build and maintain scalable data pipelines and models using platforms like Databricks and Snowflake.
• Participate in end-to-end modeling lifecycle including data exploration, feature engineering, model development, validation, and deployment.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
• 5–8 years of experience in data science, statistical modeling, and machine learning.
• Proficiency in Python and relevant data science libraries.
• Strong knowledge of deep learning architectures: LSTM, N-BEATS, CNN, RNN.
• Experience with LLMs and their application in real-world scenarios.
• Expertise in optimization techniques: Linear Programming, Mixed Integer Programming.
• Hands-on experience with optimization tools: OpenSolver, Gurobi.
• Proficient in Databricks and Snowflake for data engineering and model deployment.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to engage with business stakeholders and customers.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a solid understanding of technology.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Advanced degree (Master’s or PhD) in Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Experience working in cross-functional teams and customer-facing roles.
