Role description
AllSTEM Connections is seeking a Statistician - II to work fully remote within the United States. This is a 12-month contract opportunity. Hourly rate is up to $48.20/hour. M-F, 8AM - 5PM. SUMMARY: Our confidential client is seeking a Statistician - II to support process development and Design of Experiments (DOE) initiatives. This is a hands-on, project-facing opportunity within a fast-paced, data-driven environment. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with process scientists and engineers to design, analyze, and report on studies using JMP and related statistical tools. RESPONSIBILITIES: • Develop study designs (DOE), perform statistical analyses, and generate reports using in-house JMP tools for critical path projects. • Participate in process characterization teams to define study requirements and design experiments collaboratively with process scientists and engineers. • Discuss experimental constraints, data structure, and analytical approaches to ensure optimal study execution. • Partner with Process Scientists/Engineers to complete study reports and interpret findings. • Support ongoing process development initiatives and data-driven improvements. QUALIFICATIONS: • Master’s degree in Statistics, Biostatistics, or related discipline (e.g., Chemical or Industrial Engineering) with at least 2 years of experience, OR Ph.D. with at least 1 year of relevant experience. • Proven experience applying Design of Experiments (DOE) to real-world process development problems. • Strong knowledge of statistical analysis methodologies and experimental design. • Hands-on experience with JMP; working knowledge of other statistical and data processing software (e.g., Minitab). • Ability to learn quickly, be proactive, motivated, and execute with strong attention to detail. • Strong oral and written communication skills; effective in team environments. • 2+ years of industry experience within biopharma, medical device, or pharmaceutical organizations preferred.
