Job Title: Strategy Data & AI Consultant Work Location: Montgomery, NJ / Jersey City, Nj Contract Duration: Part-time job (four days per week) and may transition to a full-time position Note: Hybrid Client is looking for the Strategy Data & AI Consultant for - The Engineering Department, Operations Division β Engineering Solutions Unit (ES) Application Management group supports project delivery, management and reporting through consultation. The group maintains and supports various Engineering Department platforms and provides technology vision and the strategy for new initiatives. The Engineering Solutions Unit is seeking an individual to fill an on-site position for Strategy Data & AI Consultant, as outlined below.
Responsibilities
Develop a Data Governance Strategy to support the client's Digital Transformation.
Develop AI Strategy for AI Adoption, AI Governance and Staff Upskilling.
Assess the Data Maturity status throughout the organization and develop a roadmap to help the organization achieve Data Maturity.
Infuse Responsible AI into the vision and roadmap and drive organizational culture changes focused on innovation and experimentation.
Develop a curation process for AI innovations within the organization.
Develop an AI Governance Risk Assessment Process for the organization to adopt.
Identify the people, processes, and technologies needed to develop and operate AI solutions.
Manage Data Governance initiatives, from baseline discovery and activity planning to successful delivery and knowledge capture, including leading distinct initiatives within the program.
Serve as a key collaborator with the technical group to ensure the Data & AI strategy aligns with the Agency AI Strategy within the client's organization.
Tackle complex problems from an information and technology perspective as part of a wider consultancy engagement, designing and implementing solutions that demonstrate benefits and value delivered to the department.
Manage relationships with key internal stakeholders to identify opportunities for improved efficiencies and collaboration within projects and ensure return on investment is maintained.
Plan and assign project work to ensure timely delivery and effective utilization of resources.
Facilitate working groups to develop requirements and drive changes using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, business process descriptions, and business analysis.
Qualifications
Must possess a bachelorβs degree from an accredited college in Engineering, Data/Computer Science or a related field, a masterβs degree is highly desirable
Experience leading AI strategy and executing AI initiatives in large organizations for over 3 years
Experience working in or for an engineering, design or construction company, full understanding tools and needs of this industry β at least 5 years
Solid working experience with Microsoft Azure AI/storage platforms and tools β at least 2 years
Demonstrate proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 Suite, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel and demonstrated proficiency with Adobe Acrobat Pro
