Job Title: Supply Chain Analyst
Location: Englewood, CO- on-site and must be local to the area
Job Type: Contract (Up to 17 Months)
Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Supply Chain Analyst to join for our client in a contract role. In this individual contributor position, you will be responsible for planning, scheduling, and monitoring the inbound movement of materials from suppliers. You will collaborate closely with purchasing, production, and engineering teams to determine material requirements and ensure efficient material flow throughout the supply chain.
Key Responsibilities:
β’ Data Analysis: Analyze supply chain data to identify trends, variances, and improvement opportunities. Use statistical methods and tools for demand forecasting and inventory optimization. Deliver actionable insights through dashboards and analytics to support supply planning decisions.
β’ Inventory Management: Maintain optimal inventory levels by conducting regular reviews and implementing effective control strategies. Monitor stock levels and initiate replenishment actions as needed.
β’ Process Improvement: Identify and implement process enhancements to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and support scalability within the supply planning function.
β’ Reporting: Create and maintain reports and dashboards to track key supply chain performance indicators. Present findings and strategic recommendations to management.
β’ Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with procurement, logistics, production, and engineering teams to ensure alignment and effective communication across the supply chain.
β’ Problem Solving: Proactively address supply chain issues, mitigating risks and implementing solutions to ensure service levels and operational excellence.
Qualifications:
β’ Bachelorβs degree in supply chain management, Business, Operations, or a related field (required)
β’ Must be local to the Englewood, CO/ surrounding areas in CO only
β’ Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including functions, pivot tables (required)
β’ Strong analytical skills with experience using data visualization and business intelligence tools (Power BI is strongly preferred)
β’ Familiarity with demand forecasting and inventory optimization techniques
β’ Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
