Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Supply Chain Specialist with 3–5 years of experience in slotting and profiling to join our dynamic operations team. This role is responsible for analyzing inventory assortments and distribution center (DC) layouts to optimize product placement for maximum efficiency and storage density. The ideal candidate will have exceptional SQL skills and a strong background in data modeling, warehouse operations, and cross-functional collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
• Analyze inventory profiles and DC layouts to identify slotting opportunities that improve pick efficiency and space utilization.
• Develop and maintain slotting models that align with operational standards and support network-wide optimization.
• Collaborate with Facilities, Network Strategy, and Design Build teams to ensure new and existing facilities are aligned with slotting logic and densification goals.
• Create and maintain dashboards and reports that provide actionable insights for key stakeholders and project teams.
• Use SQL to extract, manipulate, and analyze large datasets to support decision-making and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support execution of key supply chain initiatives by providing data-driven recommendations and performance tracking.
• Ensure alignment of slotting strategies with inventory turnover, SKU velocity, and operational throughput.
Required Skills & Experience:
• 3–5 years of experience in supply chain, warehouse operations, or logistics with a focus on slotting and profiling.
• Advanced SQL proficiency with the ability to write complex queries and analyze large datasets.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) and slotting tools.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across departments.
• Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Logistics, or a related field.
