Swift Engineer Work Snapshot • Job Type: Contract • Location: Remote • Compensation: Up to $55 per hour • Level: Middle to Senior Level Roles & Responsibilities • Review AI-generated Swift and iOS engineering solutions for correctness, maintainability, performance, UI logic quality, and architectural soundness • Evaluate step-by-step reasoning, debugging workflows, and implementation quality behind Swift and iOS-focused AI-generated responses • Analyze Swift codebases for issues related to memory management, ARC behavior, UI rendering logic, state handling, asynchronous workflows, and architectural design • Assess solutions for adherence to prompt requirements, Swift best practices, mobile engineering standards, and production-quality implementation patterns • Identify methodological errors, incorrect assumptions, performance bottlenecks, concurrency issues, lifecycle problems, and flawed UI behavior in Swift/iOS solutions • Write high-quality technical explanations and reference implementations demonstrating idiomatic Swift and modern iOS development practices • Evaluate and compare multiple AI-generated responses based on reasoning quality, code correctness, maintainability, readability, and implementation clarity • Review mobile application architecture patterns including MVVM, state management, navigation flow, UI composition, and reactive programming workflows • Support AI model improvement through annotation workflows, code evaluations, technical reviews, ranking tasks, and structured engineering feedback • Contribute to AI training datasets that improve the reasoning, coding accuracy, and problem-solving capabilities of frontier AI systems Requirements • Education: Bachelor s degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a closely related technical field • Minimum Strong years of professional Swift and iOS development experience in production environments • Strong understanding of Swift fundamentals including ARC, memory management, optionals, protocols, generics, closures, asynchronous programming, and functional programming concepts • Professional experience building, shipping, or maintaining production iOS applications • Strong proficiency with SwiftUI, UIKit, Combine, and modern iOS architectural patterns such as MVVM • Ability to evaluate Swift code for correctness, maintainability, performance optimization, UI behavior, lifecycle management, and architectural quality • Experience reviewing mobile application logic, state handling, asynchronous workflows, reactive systems, and UI composition patterns • Significant experience using AI coding assistants or LLM tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Copilot, or similar platforms for coding, debugging, and code review • Excellent English writing and communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly and concisely • Strong analytical thinking, debugging ability, and attention to detail when evaluating engineering reasoning and implementation quality • Preferred: Experience contributing to Swift/iOS open-source projects, merged pull requests, competitive programming, or advanced algorithmic problem-solving work • Previous experience with AI data training, technical annotation, engineering QA, or evaluation of AI-generated code is strongly preferred • Minimum C1 English proficiency and the ability to follow detailed technical guidelines consistently across high-volume review workflows
