Must Have Skills: • The current analyst on the team is more of a data modeler, so that profile could also work. • Going through feed files, verifying their accuracy, and then validating once they’re in the database • Intermediate to Advanced SQL querying (Postgres) • Experience with either Insomnia or Postman • Experience with batch processing systems for large-scale data workflows Preferred Skills: • Snowflake, AWS, Python, Swagger, X-ray test case management in Jira Description SYSTEMS/DATA ANALYST • Fidelity TalentSource is your destination for discovering your next temporary role at Fidelity Investments. THE TEAM • The mission of FIWA is to enable FI to provide advice driven investment solutions through high-value products, tools, and research insights. The FIWA Investment team comprises the following groups: Equity, Fixed Income, Multi-Asset, ESG, and Alternative Investments Manager Research; Portfolio Engineering; and Portfolio Construction Tools & Analytics. The Teams work together to propel our clients’ wealth management strategies with the best of Fidelity and our third-party asset management partners. • In this role, you’ll work in Fidelity Institutional (FI) to provide systems analysis support on the fast-paced Managed & Advisory Solutions team. You’ll make a large impact on the organization by helping solve for and drive solutions to complex and important business problems for our clients. THE EXPERTISE AND SKILLS YOU BRING • B.S. in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent experience. • 5+ years of Systems and Data Analysis experience within the IT field, financial services preferred. • Strong experience in data analysis, data modelling and hands on experience in Oracle/Postgres/other relational databases. • Experience with ETL frameworks, databases and SQL. • Swagger experience preferred. • Experience in Snowflake data warehousing and analytics preferred • Experience with large-scale data workflows across cloud-based and on-prem environments. • Experience with systems development methodologies and formal documentation processes, Agile/Scrum/Kanban experience. • Knowledge of API Development & Testing, AWS (Cloud) Implementation, Data Design. • Experience working in an environment with multiple applications and integrations • Understanding of the financial services industry • Adaptable and agile, can conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines and make project adjustments to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment • Can navigate the organization & build strong networks in order to successfully accomplish your work. • Proactive, detail-oriented, team player who understands how systems applications can provide solutions to business problems and objectives.
