Job OverviewWe are seeking a skilled Tableau Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data visualization and analytics, with the ability to transform complex data into actionable insights. As a Tableau Developer, you will work closely with stakeholders to understand their data needs and deliver high-quality dashboards and reports that drive business decisions.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Tableau.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
Utilize SQL to extract, manipulate, and analyze data from various sources.
Implement best practices for database design and optimization to ensure efficient data retrieval.
Work in an Agile environment, participating in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
Integrate Tableau with big data technologies such as Apache Hive and Spark for enhanced data processing capabilities.
Ensure data accuracy and integrity by performing thorough testing of dashboards and reports.
Provide support for end-users by troubleshooting issues related to Tableau visualizations.
Requirements
Proficiency in SQL for querying databases.
Experience with Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server for dashboard development and deployment.
Familiarity with programming languages such as Java is a plus.
Understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile teams.
Knowledge of database design principles and best practices.
Experience with big data technologies like Spark and Apache Hive is preferred.
Familiarity with ETL tools such as Informatica is advantageous.
Experience with AWS services related to data storage and processing is a plus.
