Job Title: Business Intelligence Analyst (Tableau)

About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Intelligence Analyst with a strong background in Tableau to join our Investment Technology team. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience designing and delivering insightful dashboards and reports for investment decision makers. This role requires expertise in data visualization and the ability to integrate diverse data models from multiple sources to create cohesive, holistic analytics solutions. The individual will collaborate closely with the Investment Technology team, leveraging their expertise to drive data-driven decision-making and strategic initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
β’ Design, develop, and maintain interactive Tableau dashboards and reports tailored to front office investment teams.
β’ Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into actionable visualizations.
β’ Synthesize data from varied systems (e.g., internal databases, cloud data sources, APIs, etc.) to deliver integrated data models and visualizations.
β’ Support the firmβs cloud migration and AI initiatives, including integration of Snowflake and support of data modelling.
β’ Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across all BI outputs.
β’ Document processes, data definitions, and dashboard usage guidelines.
Key Priorities/deliverables
β’ Deliver interactive Tableau dashboards for front office investment teams across equity research, fixed income, and trading.
β’ Establish documentation standards for data definitions, dashboard guidelines, and source-to-visualization lineage.
β’ Assist with investment analytic platform modernization projects to support cloud migration and future-state AI integrations.
β’ Partner with Investment Technology to evaluate AI-assisted analytics capabilities within the BI platform.
Required Qualifications
β’ Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience with Tableau (Desktop and Server).
β’ Proven track record of creating front office dashboards and reports.
β’ Strong SQL skills and experience working with cloud databases.
β’ Data modeling experience, ability to support and develop robust physical and logical reporting layers.
β’ Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
β’ Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
β’ High attention to detail and quality.
Preferred Qualifications
β’ Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
β’ Experience with one or more cloud data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, Databricks)
β’ Familiarity with Tableau Prep, Python, Power BI

β’ Bachelorβs degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, Finance, or a related field.
