Tableau Developer

Akkodis is seeking a Tableau Developer for a Contract job with a client in Charlotte, NC/Jersey City, NJ (Hybrid). Ideally looking for applicants with a background in the financial services industry. Pay Range: $65-73/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors. Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Tableau Report Developer with strong analytical capabilities to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining interactive and insightful Tableau dashboards and reports that support strategic business decisions. The candidate must possess a deep understanding of data modeling, visualization best practices, and be able to translate complex data into actionable insights. This role bridges data visualization with user experience, ensuring clarity, performance, and brand consistency. Required Skills and Qualifications: • 10+ years of hands-on experience with Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server • 3+ years in a large enterprise environment • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically. • Understanding of data visualization principles and UX best practices • Understanding of data warehousing concepts and relational databases. • Proficiency in optimizing performance with large datasets. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. • Familiarity with a variety of data sources, SQL and Tableau Data Extracts (TDE/Hyper) Equal Opportunity Employer/Veterans/Disabled Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, an EAP program, commuter benefits, and a 401K plan.
