Position: Tableau Developer with Strong Tableau Cloud Migration Exp|| Pittsburgh, PA (Onsite) local only Location: Pittsburgh, PA (Onsite) local only Duration: 12+ Months Quick Interview Job Description Primary Skills • Data certifications( Tableau certification ) • Migration • Tableau Job Description • Support end to end planning, set up, clean up • Review existing context, dashboard and sources • Reviewing and making sure following best practices • Will work with team on data certifications standards • Experience with Prep is a plus • Migration experience is a must Summary Contract role to support our migration from on prem Tableau Server to Tableau Cloud and strengthen our enterprise BI foundation. The contractor will support technical migration execution, platform configuration, and best practices, with secondary support across Power BI, Tableau Prep, Alteryx and cloud data architecture. Key Responsibilities • Assist with end to end migration from on prem Tableau Server to Tableau Cloud. • Configure and administer Tableau Cloud (sites, projects, permissions, SSO, row level security, performance). • Rationalize and clean up existing content; redesign key dashboards and data sources where needed. • Implement and support data certification standards for dashboards and data sources. • Design and maintain data prep flows using Tableau Prep and Alteryx, integrating with cloud data platforms. • Advise on and support Power BI cloud usage (workspaces, data sets, security, coexistence with Tableau). • Document patterns/runbooks and coach internal teams to operate the platform post engagement. Required Experience • Enterprise Tableau experience, including significant work with Tableau Cloud or large Tableau Server environments. • Proven track record migrating from Tableau Server to Tableau Cloud in a complex organization. • Strong Tableau Cloud administration and dashboard development skills. • Hands on experience with Tableau Prep and Alteryx for production workflows. • Working knowledge of Power BI Service and how it coexists with Tableau in a hybrid BI landscape. • Solid understanding of modern cloud data architecture.
