Tableau Specialist

Tableau Specialist Hybrid Contract Nashville, TN Job Summary: We are seeking a Tableau Specialist to support the development, maintenance, and accessibility remediation of Tableau dashboards in a server-based environment. This role will focus on creating new dashboards, enhancing existing ones, and ensuring all visualizations meet ADA accessibility requirements and WCAG standards. Key Responsibilities: • Build, develop, modify, and maintain Tableau dashboards to support business and reporting needs. • Update existing dashboards to meet ADA accessibility and WCAG compliance standards. • Use accessibility scanning or validation tools to identify non-compliant elements and apply appropriate fixes. • Ensure dashboards are usable, accessible, and clear for all users. • Maintain dashboards housed in a centralized Tableau Server environment. • Partner with internal stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and implement updates. Required Qualifications: • Hands-on experience developing dashboards in Tableau. • Experience working with or remediating dashboards to meet ADA and WCAG accessibility standards. • Familiarity with accessibility best practices for data visualizations (color contrast, labeling, keyboard navigation, etc.). • Ability to work independently and manage dashboard updates with limited oversight. • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
