Role description
We are seeking a Reporting Analyst to support a large-scale HR technology transformation initiative. This role will focus on defining, documenting, and validating reporting and analytics requirements across core Talent Management processes, partnering closely with HR, IT, and implementation teams to ensure accurate, actionable insights at system go-live.
Location: Seattle, WA. Hybrid schedule for local candidates: remote Mondays & Fridays, in-office TuesdaysβThursdays.
Remote candidates may be considered, with up to 25% travel to Seattle for key meetings.
Duration: 10 months w/ possible extensions

Responsibilities
β’ Partner with HR, IT, and implementation teams to define, validate, and document reporting and analytics requirements supporting Talent processes.
β’ Facilitate requirements-gathering workshops with business and HR stakeholders across Talent Management domains including recruiting/onboarding, performance management, succession planning, career development, and learning.
β’ Translate business needs into clear reporting specifications, including data sources, KPIs, metrics, and visualization requirements.
β’ Document requirements as user stories and acceptance criteria within Azure DevOps.
β’ Collaborate closely with Data, Integration, and Reporting teams to align on data architecture, governance, and integration points.
β’ Support QA and UAT activities by validating reports for accuracy, usability, and compliance.
β’ Ensure reporting aligns with internal controls, data governance, and regulatory requirements.
β’ Partner with Organizational Change Management (OCM) teams to support training materials and communications related to reporting tools and dashboards.
β’ Serve as a liaison between functional stakeholders and technical developers to clarify requirements and resolve issues.
Qualifications
β’ 3β5 years of experience in HR reporting, analytics, or business analysis.
β’ Strong experience with requirements gathering, stakeholder facilitation, and validating deliverables through functional reviews and structured testing.
β’ Solid understanding of Talent Management processes, including recruiting/onboarding, performance management, succession planning, and learning.
β’ Hands-on experience with reporting and data visualization tools (e.g., UKG reporting, Cognos, Power BI).
β’ Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365; experience using Azure DevOps for requirement tracking.
β’ Strong communication skills with the ability to bridge business and technical teams effectively.
β’ Team-oriented, detail-driven professional comfortable operating in a complex program environment.
Highly Desired
β’ Experience with UKG HCM reporting, including People Analytics.
β’ Background supporting large-scale HR technology or HCM system implementations.
β’ Knowledge of data governance, compliance, and reporting standards.
