Responsibilities
Kforce has a client in Salt Lake City, UT that is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Technical Business Analyst with strong banking domain knowledge, specifically in loan origination and servicing. Summary: This role is instrumental in testing and validating a new Loan Origination System (LOS). The ideal candidate is a fast learner who can quickly understand new systems, business requirements, and future-state process flows, translating them into effective test scenarios that ensure the solution meets both functional and regulatory needs.
Requirements
β’ Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience)
β’ 3-5 years of experience in UAT, QA, or Business Analysis in the banking/financial services industry
β’ Familiarity with test management tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, JIRA, ALM)
β’ Knowledge of lending regulatory requirements (HMDA, KYC, Fair Lending, etc.)
β’ Demonstrated ability to read and interpret process flows and translate them into testable scenarios
β’ Proven ability to learn quickly, adapt to complex systems, and grasp new workflows
β’ Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
β’ Excellent communication and facilitation skills across cross-functional teams
β’ Highly proactive and self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership
β’ Fast learner with ability to connect details to the bigger picture
β’ Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills
β’ Proactive approach to problem solving
β’ Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
β’ Must be available to work during Mountain or Pacific Time Zone hours
Preferred Qualifications
β’ Experience in Loan Origination System implementation or replacement projects
β’ Exposure to core banking systems, credit bureau interfaces, collateral/document management systems
β’ Agile/Scrum environment exposure and participation in PI planning or sprint ceremonies
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
