Role description
We're looking for a Technical Business Analyst to join our Bradford-based team on an initial 12-month fixed-term contract. This is a hybrid role, with an expectation to work from the office twice a week.
As our Technical Business Analyst, you’ll play a pivotal role in connecting business stakeholders, product managers, and technical teams to drive the successful delivery of high-quality products and solutions.
You’ll translate business needs into clear, actionable technical requirements through a product-centric lens, ensuring alignment between strategic objectives and user expectations. Your solid grasp of technical concepts and product lifecycle management will be key to delivering impactful, user-focused outcomes that add real value.
What will you be doing?
• Strong experience in gathering and analysing business and technical requirements.
• Ability to translate requirements into clear technical specs and user stories.
• Proficient in navigating the product lifecycle with a focus on business outcomes.
• Skilled in stakeholder communication and bridging technical and non-technical teams.
• Proven ability to identify process improvement opportunities.
• Experience supporting QA and validating product features against requirements.
• Proactive in identifying risks and proposing mitigation strategies.
• Comfortable contributing to product roadmap planning and prioritisation.

• Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, and product development methodologies.
• Skilled in gathering and documenting business and technical requirements.

• Solid knowledge of product and software development lifecycles.
• Strong analytical thinking and data-driven decision-making.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including senior leadership engagement.
• Organised, resilient, and adaptable in a dynamic environment.
Desirable
• Familiarity with UX/UI principles and a user-first approach to product development
• Awareness of Google Cloud Platform, with bonus points for knowledge of AI tools
• Basic understanding of technical languages such as Python and JavaScript (React)
• Knowledge of technical architecture across on-prem and cloud environments
• Experience working in fast-paced startup or scale-up settings
