Technical Business Analyst

Piper Companies is seeking a Business Analyst to join an established marketing organization. This position is REMOTE (anywhere in the US) and is a 6-month contract with potential to extend. This is a technical BA role, working closely with both business and tech teams on data-focused projects. Preference for strong familiarity with data warehousing concepts, and exposure to Salesforce Marketing Cloud. Responsibilities Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams across 4–5 concurrent IT projects, including data warehouse application builds and Salesforce Marketing Cloud integrations. Translate business needs into clear technical requirements and ensure alignment throughout the project lifecycle. Support agile project execution by participating in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives, helping teams stay on track and deliver value. Collaborate with data engineering and development teams to ensure solutions meet business goals and technical standards. Facilitate effective communication and documentation to keep all parties informed and aligned. Qualifications 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in IT or data-focused environments. Strong understanding of data warehousing technologies and how they support business intelligence and analytics. Experience with API integrations. Proven experience working within agile frameworks and contributing to iterative project delivery. Ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and translate them into actionable business insights. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with a track record of successful cross-functional collaboration. Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud a plus.
