About the role We’re recruiting for a dynamic and adaptable Security Technical Business Analyst to support the delivery of a strategic programme for our client. This is a hands-on, multi-disciplinary role that blends business, technical, and data analysis to help modernise and secure the organisation’s application estate. You’ll be embedded within the Identity and Authentication team, playing a key role in driving change across hundreds of applications. The programme is focused on enhancing cybersecurity capabilities—reviewing legacy systems, implementing new platforms, and introducing critical tools for identity, authentication, privileged access, and security monitoring. Shifts: Monday to Friday (37.5 hours) Roles and Responsibilities: • Engage with stakeholders across the airline to gather, refine and prioritise business, technical, and data requirements. • Own and manage the project backlog in JIRA, working closely with the Identity and Authentication Lead and product stakeholders. • Analyse application and identity-related data sets to identify trends, dependencies, and risks. • Conduct workshops with application owners and technical teams to extract key information, drive decision-making, and document outputs. • Produce deliverables in multiple formats: user stories, business requirements documents, technical specifications, and process maps. • Support backlog refinement sessions and ensure stories or requirements are well defined and actionable. • Unpick complex legacy application landscapes, documenting current state. • Apply both Agile and Waterfall methods depending on the project, ensuring structure and clarity in delivery. • Collaborate closely with the Authentication product lead, application owners, engineers and other delivery teams. Required Skills & Experience • Proven experience as a Business Analyst / Technical Analyst / Data Analyst in large-scale enterprise environments. • Strong working knowledge of JIRA and backlog management. • Excellent stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to communicate at all levels. • Strong analytical capability with experience working on large, complex data sets. • Experience working on cybersecurity projects – particularly around Identity and Access Management (IAM). • Understanding of Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure AD) – including application onboarding. • Ability to translate non-technical input into structured technical and business requirements. • Confident in producing process maps, requirements documents, and technical specifications. • Comfortable running workshops and engaging stakeholders in high-pressure environments Candidate Profile We are looking for a hands-on, multi-skilled analyst who can flex between business, technical, and data analysis. You should be comfortable working independently, coping with ambiguity, and thriving in a fast-paced environment.
