β’ This is a contract with the potential to convert to full time with a large regional bank based in Utah. As a contractor for Smith Johnson, you are eligible for medical, dental, life, disability. Smith Johnson pays for 70% of your medical and dental and 100% of life and disability. The contract is also eligible for PTO/holiday accrued monthly. You are also eligible for a 3% retirement matching plan. Smith Johnson believes in taking care of our contractors.

They are seeking a Technical Business Analyst to join the organization. The Technical Business Analyst plays a key role in coordinating technical initiatives across multiple groups, documenting and tracking DevOps processes, and coordinating the use of multiple platforms and system environments. Responsibilities:
β’ Responsible to work with various business users to review, analyze and evaluate business systems and make recommendations for improvements and changes.
β’ Performs and participates in the analysis, design and implementation of business systems.
β’ Responsible for following appropriate standards and requirement gathering. Formulates proposals for new systems, procedures and/ or processes.
β’ Conducts tests or test planning sessions, provides input for feasibility and prepares user documentation and follow-up evaluation.
β’ Acts as a liaison with subsidiary management and staff to resolve issues as needed.
β’ Provides ongoing technical support for specialized applications.
β’ Applies various analytical tools and software application experience to increase quality, productivity, and overall effectiveness of user's applications.
β’ Assists in developing user documentation and departmental policies and procedures that impact the use of application systems.
β’ Performs project management leadership functions as a project manager or team member.
β’ Other duties as assigned.
The Technical Business Analyst will:
β’ Play a key role in coordinating technical initiatives across multiple groups
β’ Document and track DevOps processes
β’ Coordinate and document use of multiple platforms and system environments
β’ Communicate status of teams and work initiatives to leaders through written and verbal communications

Qualifications:
β’ Requires a Bachelorsβ degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or another related field with 6 years of experience.
β’ A combination of education and experience may meet requirements.
β’ Highly organized and detail-oriented
β’ Able to facilitate team meetings and coordinate with multiple groups with competing priorities
β’ Competent with Microsoft Office products
β’ Needs to be technically literate on how systems and interfaces work
β’ Must be able to assess the impact of issues as they arise and escalate as appropriate
β’ Experience with nCino or other Loan Origination Systems is a plus
