Job Description:
We are seeking a Technical Business Analyst with strong experience in Fixed Income trading systems to join a dynamic team within a leading financial institution. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of capital markets and trading workflows, particularly in the Fixed Income domain, and be skilled in gathering requirements, writing detailed specifications, and working closely with both business stakeholders and technical teams.
Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with traders, portfolio managers, and technology teams to gather and document functional and technical requirements related to Fixed Income trading workflows.
• Work with development teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
• Act as a bridge between front-office users and IT teams to support enhancements, new implementations, and issue resolution.
• Perform gap analysis and impact assessments for system changes or upgrades.
• Participate in testing, validation, and UAT phases of trading system releases.
• Ensure system documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
• Maintain a strong understanding of industry regulations and compliance issues affecting Fixed Income products.
Requirements:
• 5+ years of experience as a Technical or Business Analyst in the financial services industry, preferably within Fixed Income trading systems.
• Solid understanding of Fixed Income products (e.g., bonds, treasuries, municipal securities, etc.).
• Experience with trading platforms
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Proficiency in SQL, data analysis, and working with large datasets.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology and tools like JIRA, Confluence, etc.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to engage with both business and technical teams.
Nice to Have:
• Experience with front-office, middle-office, or back-office integration in a trading environment.
• Understanding of regulatory reporting and compliance in capital markets.
