Role description
Technical Business Analyst - UK, London - Fixed Term Contract
This is your opportunity to work for a global data centre operator that has been recognised for as one of fastest growing and well-known groups in the industry.
Having received significant investment, this established data centre group is in their next phase of growth and require the expertise of a Technical Business Analyst. They have established partnerships with many of the well-known technology powerhouses and tailor to their development to their client's requirements.
Responsibilities
β’ Manage Data Automation including assisting in development of strategy, and leading facilitation & development of a detailed plan for delivering Data Automation.
β’ Identify areas of concern, issues and problems that could impact quality or delivery of the Data Automation project. Facilitate resolutions.
β’ Conduct technical, quality & progress reviews to frequency agreed with SR PM
β’ Engage with stakeholders from project teams, function teams and others as necessary.
β’ Coordinate across portfolios, programmes and projects to ensure the automation project is capturing data from the appropriate sources.
β’ Ensure appropriate data storage, archiving and security is developed and maintained.
β’ Coordinate automation activities accommodate monthly cycle of activities necessary to prepare the reports.
Requirements:
β’ Data Management expertise
β’ Power BI experience as well as other data management software systems;
β’ Facilitator; good written, graphic and presentation skills;
β’ Confident and able to work closely with project-based staff to obtain best results.
β’ Able to deal with people working in stressful environments.
β’ Proven work experience as a Project Manager or BI Analyst
β’ Experience of working on projects with Power BI
β’ Excellent knowledge of data analysis and reporting
β’ Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools
β’ Strong problem-solving and communication skills
β’ Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
β’ BSc degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant field. Bcs / iseb business analyst diploma is a plus
