Role description
Technical Analyst Location: Remote US Duration: 1 year contract with potential extension or convert to direct hire Type: USC, GC (no Corp2Corp or Agency referral) Rate Range: 40-43 hour W2 Job Summary: The Technologies Technology Assessment (TA) is an important process aimed to ensure that all vendor technology solutions meet the architecture, infrastructure, technical, and security requirements. Technology Assessments are completed in partnership with CyberSecurity, Market Technology, Enterprise Applications & Platforms, and The Resource Group (TRG) prior to the acquisition and introduction of new products and services into the environment. The Technical Analyst will be handling an influx of technology assessment requests and ensuring inofrmation is complete when coming through ServiceNow. Team member compiles all findings, adds to TA repository, and sends information to stakeholders. Responsibilities:
Facilitate and manage various efforts related to TA compliance and daily operations.
Ensure all information is complete when requests come in through Service Now
Validates the vendor's technical documentation is complete.
Compiles the technical findings from the infrastructure and security reviews into a summary for stakeholders.
Experience/familiarity with basic IT functions, including server/client relationships, operating systems, databases, security concepts and server/desktop applications.
Familiarity with ServiceNow and the ability to navigate and modify forms.
Familiarity with Google Sheets and the ability to navigate sheets.
Successfully troubleshoots most problems independently.
Share knowledge effectively within the work team.
Ability to follow process documentation.
Comfortable reaching out to end users and leadership to obtain missing documents or information related to the Technology Assessment.
Ability to use and administer business applications and recommend enhancements/modifications to existing and future workflow.
Evaluate products for risk, legal compliance, security, etc.
Team member compiles all findings, adds to TA repository, and sends information to stakeholders.
Knowledge and experience with Technology Assessments preferred, but not required.
Complexity of Work:
Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
