Role description
Title: Technical Business Analyst – Power BI / SQL (Remote, Contract) Location: 100% Remote (East Coast hours preferred) Contract Duration: 6+ Months Compensation: Up to $75/hour Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Business Analyst for a 100% remote, 6+ month contract role. This position will focus on implementing dashboards, troubleshooting data issues, and presenting insights to leadership. The ideal candidate has strong experience with Power BI, SQL, and APIs, and is comfortable working independently while aligning with East Coast business hours. Key Responsibilities: • 70 % – Present data insights and strategic recommendations to management Collaborate with stakeholders to gather reporting and analytics requirements • 30 % – Implement dashboards and visualizations, troubleshoot data discrepancies, and ensure data integrity • Write and optimize complex SQL queries for data extraction and transformation • Integrate and work with APIs for data sourcing and automation • Ensure timely delivery of data solutions aligned with business needs Required Skills & Experience: • 5+ years of experience in a Data Analyst or BI Analyst role • Proficiency with Power BI and SQL • Experience with APIs for data exchange or integration • Excellent communication and presentation skills • Self-starter with strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities • Comfortable working remotely and independently Preferred (Nice to Have): • Understanding of data center operations, networking concepts, or IT infrastructure • Experience working with cross-functional technical teams • Familiarity with Python, R, or other scripting languages for data manipulation Additional Details: • Must be available to work East Coast hours • Role is 100% remote • Immediate need – apply now for confidential consideration
