Technical Business Analyst

Role: Technical Business Analyst Location: Rhode Island Required Skills: • Strong requirements gathering and analysis capabilities, with attention to detail and accuracy. • Proficient in documenting business processes, functional requirements, and technical specifications. • Effective communicator, adept at facilitating discussions and workshops between business and technical teams. • Experience supporting solution validation, system testing, and defect resolution. • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. • In-depth understanding of commercial lending products, processes, and lifecycle management. • Expertise in syndicated lending workflows, including loan origination, servicing, trading, and settlement. • Experience engaging with a diverse group of stakeholders, such as relationship managers, credit officers, operations teams, and technology partners. • Hands-on experience with at least one major lending platform (e.g., Loan IQ, AFS, ACBS, Flexcube). • Ability to analyze and troubleshoot system functionality, configuration, and integration points. • Familiarity with data mapping, reporting, and system testing in a lending environment. Responsibilities • Gather, analyze, and document comprehensive business and system requirements for commercial lending and secondary loan trading processes. • Engage with business managers, product owners, and subject matter experts to understand and translate business needs into actionable technical requirements. • Collaborate with IT architects, developers, and QA teams throughout the solution delivery lifecycle. • Support development teams in validating solutions, preparing test cases, and facilitating user acceptance testing (UAT). • Map and optimize syndicated lending workflows, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and regulatory requirements. • Prepare clear and concise documentation, including business process flows, functional specifications, and user stories. • Participate in project planning, status meetings, and post-implementation reviews.
