Role description
Role: Technical Business Analyst
Location: Rhode Island
Required Skills:
β’ Strong requirements gathering and analysis capabilities, with attention to detail and accuracy.
β’ Proficient in documenting business processes, functional requirements, and technical specifications.
β’ Effective communicator, adept at facilitating discussions and workshops between business and technical teams.
β’ Experience supporting solution validation, system testing, and defect resolution.
β’ Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
β’ In-depth understanding of commercial lending products, processes, and lifecycle management.
β’ Expertise in syndicated lending workflows, including loan origination, servicing, trading, and settlement.
β’ Experience engaging with a diverse group of stakeholders, such as relationship managers, credit officers, operations teams, and technology partners.
β’ Hands-on experience with at least one major lending platform (e.g., Loan IQ, AFS, ACBS, Flexcube).
β’ Ability to analyze and troubleshoot system functionality, configuration, and integration points.
β’ Familiarity with data mapping, reporting, and system testing in a lending environment.
Responsibilities
β’ Gather, analyze, and document comprehensive business and system requirements for commercial lending and secondary loan trading processes.
β’ Engage with business managers, product owners, and subject matter experts to understand and translate business needs into actionable technical requirements.
β’ Collaborate with IT architects, developers, and QA teams throughout the solution delivery lifecycle.
β’ Support development teams in validating solutions, preparing test cases, and facilitating user acceptance testing (UAT).
β’ Map and optimize syndicated lending workflows, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
β’ Prepare clear and concise documentation, including business process flows, functional specifications, and user stories.
β’ Participate in project planning, status meetings, and post-implementation reviews.
