Genesis10 is currently seeking a Technical Business Analyst with our client in the financial industry located in Charlotte, NC, Plano, TX, and Pennington, NJ. This is a 12+ month contract position.
Responsibilities:
β’ Gather, analyze, and document business and technical requirements for Teradata-based data solutions
β’ Collaborate with architects and development teams to design scalable Teradata data models and solutions
β’ Develop, optimize, and troubleshoot complex Teradata SQL queries and BTEQ scripts
β’ Support performance tuning, data validation, and data integration efforts within Teradata
β’ Participate in solution design, data modeling, and technical documentation
β’ Conduct impact analysis and support production troubleshooting for Teradata environments
β’ Communicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Requirements:
β’ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
β’ 8+ years as a Technical Business Analyst, Data Analyst, or similar role with Teradata focus
β’ Strong expertise in Teradata architecture, SQL development, and performance tuning
β’ Solid understanding of data warehousing, data modeling, and large-scale data environments
β’ Proven ability to translate business needs into technical Teradata solutions
β’ Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Desired skills:
β’ Financial services or banking experience
β’ Knowledge of ETL tools and data integration processes
β’ Exposure to regulatory reporting, risk management, or data governance
β’ Familiarity with Teradata Viewpoint and monitoring tools
Pay Range: $52.54-$60.54
