Genesis10 is currently seeking a Technical Business Analyst with our client in the financial industry located in Charlotte, NC, Plano, TX, and Pennington, NJ. This is a 12+ month contract position. Responsibilities: • Gather, analyze, and document business and technical requirements for Teradata-based data solutions • Collaborate with architects and development teams to design scalable Teradata data models and solutions • Develop, optimize, and troubleshoot complex Teradata SQL queries and BTEQ scripts • Support performance tuning, data validation, and data integration efforts within Teradata • Participate in solution design, data modeling, and technical documentation • Conduct impact analysis and support production troubleshooting for Teradata environments • Communicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field • 8+ years as a Technical Business Analyst, Data Analyst, or similar role with Teradata focus • Strong expertise in Teradata architecture, SQL development, and performance tuning • Solid understanding of data warehousing, data modeling, and large-scale data environments • Proven ability to translate business needs into technical Teradata solutions • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills Desired skills: • Financial services or banking experience • Knowledge of ETL tools and data integration processes • Exposure to regulatory reporting, risk management, or data governance • Familiarity with Teradata Viewpoint and monitoring tools Pay Range: $52.54-$60.54 Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
