The Opportunity:
We are looking for an experienced Technical Business Analyst to help deliver a high profile government modernisation programme, undertaking an initial piece of work to assess three legacy digital services, identify a strategy for their refactoring and cloud migration to shape a roadmap and a delivery-plan for the next-phase of work.
We are looking for a contractor with a strong background consulting into major government departments, with solid experience documenting both technical and functional requirements for legacy systems with exposure to AWS-hosted services or hybrid-cloud environments.
Skills and Experience:
• Conduct a comprehensive evaluation of service functionality, the underlying architecture, as well as the technology stack, the hosting environment and the all-round data-flow processes.
• Identify and document technical blockers, potential risks and deficiencies in existing technical documentation.
• Engage with key stakeholders to ensure alignment and shared understanding of governance structures and assurance frameworks.
• Contribute to the formulation of a high‑level strategy for system refactoring and migration.
• Experience with the following technology stack Java, Git, Jenkins and exposure to AWS-hosted services or hybrid-cloud environments would be a plus.
NB: Candidates must be eligible for BPSS security clearance which will processed following successful interviews (7-10 days).
