Technical Business Analyst

We are looking for an ambitious and self-directed Technical Business Analyst to lead our projects from conception to launch. The focus of this role is to drive innovation and deliver solutions that change the way we do business. As part of an Agile team, you will be a key driver for business benefits. This position is for a highly self-directed and excellent problem-solver who can work with all levels of the organization. Strong leadership skills and excellent communication are essential. This role is heavily focused on user stories, with your time allocated as follows: • 65%: User Story creation and refinement • 25%: Project management • 10%: Ticket triage and assignment Job Functions / Responsibilities • Take full ownership of medium to complex technology projects and initiatives from initiation through deployment. • Lead projects of moderate to high complexity with teams of 6+ people, including those with budgets around $1M and efforts of 7,500+ man-hours. • Work with the development team as a Scrum Master, leading Scrum ceremonies, assisting product owners with backlog prioritization, and helping with testing. • Engage in multiple smaller projects and initiatives simultaneously. • Facilitate workshops to scope projects and gather user stories from various stakeholders. • Support developers to ensure they understand requirements and assist in refining user stories with the business. • Lead the solution's User Acceptance Testing cycles, including test scenario documentation and business sign-off. • Perform functional, integration, and regression testing as needed to support projects. • Acquire and coordinate resources from internal teams and external vendors. • Identify project risks and collaborate with the team on mitigation plans. • Perform organizational tasks related to change control, incident management, and audits. Qualifications • 5+ years of experience in a business analyst or project manager role. • In-depth knowledge of Agile processes and principles, with a strong focus on Scrum. • Demonstrated experience writing epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with diverse groups, including executives and subject matter experts. • Highly self-motivated and flexible with a strong focus on delivery. • Proven problem-solving, facilitation, and customer service skills. • Able to work effectively in a team environment with little or no supervision. • Proficient with Microsoft productivity tools, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Project, and Azure DevOps. • Working knowledge of application technology stacks and business process, preferably in a manufacturing environment. • On-call availability for business support. Education • A Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field is strongly desired. Preferred Qualifications • Advanced Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM). • Project management training (PMP). • LEAN and/or Six Sigma experience or certification.
