ONLY H1B Candidates Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Business Analyst with strong experience in the Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance (BFSI) domain. The ideal candidate will bridge business requirements and technology solutions, working closely with stakeholders, architects, and development teams to deliver scalable, regulatory-compliant, and customer-centric solutions. This is a remote, work at home opportunity in the US. Key Responsibilities: β€’ Engage with business stakeholders to gather, document, and validate requirements for BFSI applications, platforms, and integrations. β€’ Translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications, user stories, and process flows. β€’ Collaborate with architects and developers to design API integrations, data flows, and system interactions. β€’ Analyze regulatory, compliance, and security requirements specific to BFSI systems. β€’ Support core banking, payment systems, lending platforms, digital channels, or insurance applications analysis. β€’ Perform data analysis (SQL, Excel, BI tools) to support requirement validation and decision-making. β€’ Coordinate with QA teams to define test cases, acceptance criteria, and UAT processes. β€’ Serve as liaison between business units, technology teams, and third-party vendors. β€’ Track project progress, identify risks, and ensure timely delivery of requirements. β€’ Support Agile/Scrum ceremonies (backlog grooming, sprint planning, retrospectives). β€’ Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes in the FinTech sector. Required qualifications: β€’ Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Finance, or related field. β€’ 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst with at least 3+ years in BFSI domain. β€’ Strong understanding of banking/insurance processes (core banking, payments, risk & compliance, digital channels). β€’ Experience with API-based integrations, microservices, and modern application architectures. β€’ Proficiency in SQL and data analysis for requirement validation. β€’ Familiarity with SDLC, Agile/Scrum methodologies, and tools (JIRA, Confluence, Rally). β€’ Strong documentation skills (BRD, FRD, user stories, process flows, sequence diagrams). β€’ Understanding of software engineering principles and processes (e.g., Lean, Agile, DevOps) and continuous improvement through measurement. Preferred Qualifications: β€’ Demonstrates judgment and flexibility - positively deals with a shifting demand for time, priorities, and the rapid change of environments. β€’ Takes an ownership approach to engineering and product outcomes. β€’ Knowledge of regulatory frameworks (PCI-DSS, AML, KYC, GDPR, SOX). β€’ Exposure to API Management, event-driven architecture, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP). β€’ Experience in data migration, transformation, or modernization programs in BFSI. β€’ Certifications: CBAP, CCBA, Scrum Master, or Agile BA.
