Contract Technical Business Analyst Location: Hybrid 1-2 days per week onsite in Peterborough Contract Length: 6 months Initially Start Date: August Sector: Global Technology / Digital Services Overview: We’re seeking a Contract Technical Business Analyst to join a global, multinational organisation delivering large-scale digital services. This role sits within a high-impact initiative supported by senior leadership and executive sponsors, offering meaningful work with clear commercial outcomes. You’ll act as a critical link between engineering and the wider business, taking technical Swagger API documentation and transforming it into clear, structured guidance that supports business processes, commercial needs, and technical implementation. Key Responsibilities: • Analyse Swagger/OpenAPI documentation and translate it into accessible, user-friendly business and technical documentation. • Collaborate with Engineering, Product, Business, and Commercial teams to understand integration requirements and workflow impacts. • Document business processes, customer journeys, and operational steps aligned to API functionality. • Produce clear business requirement documents (BRDs), user stories, and process flows for internal and external consumption. • Support stakeholder engagement across business and technical audiences, ensuring clarity and consistency. • Assist in aligning API capabilities with end-user needs and operational processes. Key Skills & Experience: • Proven experience as a Technical Business Analyst in a complex, enterprise-scale environment. • Strong understanding of Swagger/OpenAPI documentation and the ability to interpret and repurpose technical content. • Skilled in documenting end-to-end processes and creating user-centric technical guides. • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to interface across business, commercial, and technical teams. • Experience working in a regulated, enterprise, or global matrix environment. • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and cross-functional delivery planning. • Experience in SaaS, API platforms, or integration-heavy environments is highly desirable. Working Model: • Hybrid working: 1–2 days per week onsite in Peterborough (collaboration days with core stakeholders). • 6-month initial contract with high visibility and potential for extension.
