Responsibilities Kforce has a client that is seeking a Technical Chapter Lead in Johnston, RI. Responsibilities: • Technical Chapter Lead will collaborate with the vendor of software engineering skills to ensure quality and accountability to the project • Set expectations for vendor teams to maximize the value delivered to internal business clients • Review code-based work products to ensure the delivery of quality software • Adhere to internal software engineering and security standards as well as external industry practices • Enable and support the members of the vendor team through administrative tasks • Act as a technical leader overseeing a vendor-driven software engineering team • As a Technical Chapter Lead, you will acquire and share domain and technical knowledge with the team • Engage with solution architects and product owners as a technical SME • Ensure alignment of strategic direction for the work product delivered by the vendor team Requirements • 7+ years in software engineering and team leadership with C#, .NET, SQL, REST, GraphQL, and Javascript/React • 2+ years managing and developing technical teams, including onboarding • Experience with Docker, GraphQL (Hasura/Apollo Client), and software testing (ADO/Playwright) • Experience with Agile/SCRUM and vendor team management • Knowledge of software engineering fundamentals, design patterns, and performance optimization • Understanding of OWASP Top 10 and secure code reviews • Proficient in Microsoft Azure DevOps, CICD/YAML pipelines • Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills • Detail-oriented in identifying code and architecture issues The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role.
