Job#: 3028104 Job Description: Our great client in Milwaukee, WI has an immediate opening for a Technical Business Analyst. If you are interested please apply with resume to [email protected] . This will be a contract to hire role. As a Business Analyst on the data team, you will be responsible for interacting with end users, Data Producers and Consumers, Info Stewards, and Product Owners (both DnA and business) to refine feature/project requirements, create Business Requirements Documentation, and facilitate UAT (User s Acceptance Testing) with the Data Consumers at the conclusion of the QA phase. You will also: • Facilitate delivery of new reporting and analytic initiatives. Responsible for working with business owners and assessing requests for data, potential new solutions for their needs, and/or opportunities based on requirements. • Ensure that Data Consumer data ask is sufficiently detailed by conducting stakeholder interviews with Data Consumers, final state end users, Information Stewards, and Product Owners • Engage Solution Architect and Data Architect to generate non-functional requirements and ensure intended use and functional requirements are well understood • Leads final review of BRD with Engineering Team and coordinates Architecture team review of design artifacts with Engineering Team. • Act as liaison with business representatives, developers and analysts. Work with other co-workers in various units to ensure successful completion and rollout of change. • Communicate using both formal and informal methods across cross functional team throughout the development life cycle. Responsible for aligning communication deliverables and methods to each iteration. • Facilitate preparedness for transition of initiative between the Data Engineers and Data Operations teams. Do you have what it takes? Experience: More than 3 years of recent and related experience performing complex work in area of specialization Required Knowledge & Skills: • Knowledge of Data Integration projects including Data Warehouses, Data Lakes and Data Marts. • Knowledge of the Financial Industry - Insurance and Mortgage Insurance concepts preferred • Knowledge of Cloud-based technologies and capabilities, and how they can enable both IS and the Business • Understanding of concept and phases of SDLC; able to complete assigned project tasks per each corresponding SDLC phase • Understanding of project management principles and lifecycle • Understanding of how IS affects business processes • Ability to express technical concepts in terms that are business understandable • Project management skills, experience in organizing, planning, and executing projects from the envisioning stage through to implementation • Ability to analyze project needs and determine resources needed • Agility in elicitation and communication methods Apex Systems is a world-class IT services company that serves thousands of clients across the globe.
